THE BIGGEST PRODUCTION OF CHERRIES IN THE PROVINCE OF ALICANTE AREA IS COVERED BY THE GEOGRAPHICAL 'THE MOUNTAIN CHERRIES ALICANTE'

This production area has some special features for growing agorclimáticas cherry. The main features are one of the most mountainous of the Comunidad Valenciana, soils are high in calcium carbonate and organic material shortages, a mild Mediterranean climate, with cold temperatures and more rainfall than the rest of the comunodad. The average annual temperature is between 13 and 15.5 º C, with average annual rainfall between 350-650 mm.
